Adventures in Lollygagging tackles “The Summer of Riots,” the first scenario in our playtesting of The Black Company Roleplaying Game.
It being a playtest, a few questions came up during the game that we can address here after the fact:
- No, don’t maket the players make 20 defense rolls when they’re surrounded by rioters. One per player is plenty. Add disadvantage or even dire disadvantage (described in the rules) if they’re really pressed.
- You can roll Hand Weapons to block an arrow if you have a shield.
- What happened to the squad at the end feels about right to us, under the circumstances. Yikes.
